The Tabor Mountain Boys
The Boys were sitting around their still, up by Reservoir 1 in Portland's Mt. Tabor park, playing bluegrass, country swing, country classics, and drinking beer while waiting for the most recent batch to finish distilling. After a tasting session of the particularly strong batch, they morphed into something else entirely when they figured out they had great original tunes, some pretty decent chops and a Don Rickles-ish appreciation for one another.

The weekly Monday open mic is one of The Boys' favorite places to play! This time around we're the featured artists, so we'll start with open mic performers, then we'll play a set, then more open mic performers, and then our final set. It's a really good open mic, open to; covers, originals, poetry, jokes, whatever you've got to share. And if you'd like, you could probably get one or more of The Boys to play with you if you ask nicely. We'd love to see you there!
